Growth Financing Secured to Expand Neurodiagnostics Platform for Sleep Disorders

## Neurodiagnostics Company Secures Growth Financing CND Life Sciences, a neurodiagnostics company, has completed a growth financing round led by S-Curve Partners. The financing will support the commercial expansion and innovation of the Syn-One Test, a skin biopsy-based test used to evaluate REM sleep behavior disorder and other synucleinopathies. The Syn-One Test detects abnormal alpha-synuclein, a protein associated with neurodegenerative diseases. Since 2020, the test has been used by over 4,000 clinicians to evaluate more than 60,000 patients in the US. The test is supported by a growing body of peer-reviewed clinical evidence assessing cutaneous phosphorylated alpha-synuclein as a biomarker of synucleinopathies. ## Expanding Access to Neurodiagnostics The growth financing will enable CND Life Sciences to expand its commercial initiatives, product innovation, and strategic partnerships. The company aims to incorporate the Syn-One Test into a broader multimodal biomarker capability designed to support clinical diagnosis and disease characterization of neurodegenerative disorders. According to Todd Levine, MD, chief medical officer and co-founder at CND, the financing will give the company the flexibility to invest in innovation, expand access to the Syn-One platform, and strengthen its pharmaceutical and research relationships. Levine believes that neurodegenerative diseases remain among the most underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed conditions in medicine, and that objective biomarkers will become increasingly essential for clinicians, patients, researchers, and pharmaceutical companies. ## Accelerating the Evolution of Neurodiagnostics S-Curve Partners, an operator-led healthcare investment firm, believes that CND has built one of the most differentiated platforms in neurodiagnostics. The company's founding partner, Daniel Livschutz, says that the financing is intended to accelerate the evolution of the Syn-One Test from a category-defining product to a broader platform supporting earlier diagnosis, disease differentiation, and more personalized care. The financing arrives amid heightened interest in objective biomarkers, earlier diagnosis, and precision medicine approaches within neurology. As the field of neurology continues to evolve, the need for accurate and objective biomarkers will only become more essential for clinicians and researchers. The growth financing secured by CND Life Sciences will enable the company to expand its neurodiagnostics platform, improve access to the Syn-One Test, and accelerate the development of new treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. As the company continues to innovate and expand its platform, it is likely to play a significant role in the future of neurology and the diagnosis of sleep disorders.
