Florida Cardiology Practice to Open Sleep
Vivos Therapeutics and South Palm Cardiovascular Associates are partnering to open a regional Sleep & Airway Medicine Center in Palm Beach County by early

A new regional Sleep & Airway Medicine Center is planned for Palm Beach County, Florida. Vivos Therapeutics Inc and South Palm Cardiovascular Associates LLC (SPCVA) have signed agreements to establish the facility, which is expected to begin treating patients in the first quarter of 2027.
SPCVA is a physician-owned cardiology practice with about 30,000 patients. The practice sought more reliable access to sleep testing and treatment for its cardiovascular patients with undiagnosed obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
A Direct Response to Patient Need
Cardiologists at the practice report seeing the impact of sleep apnea daily. "As cardiologists caring for tens of thousands of chronically ill patients throughout South Florida, we see the impact of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) every day," says Dr. Andres Ruiz, a leading cardiologist at SPCVA. He notes the range of patient experiences, from mild disease to severe OSA with poor compliance on traditional therapies.
The partnership creates a management services organization called AIM Florida LLC. Vivos expects to hold a 75% majority interest in this entity. The organizations are currently evaluating locations and negotiating a lease for the initial facility.
Integrated Testing and Treatment
The planned center will integrate sleep testing, medical evaluation, and a range of treatment options selected by licensed professionals. Available modalities may include positive airway pressure therapy, FDA-cleared oral appliances, advanced laser therapy, and myofunctional therapy.
R Kirk Huntsman, chairman and CEO of Vivos, calls the agreement execution a milestone. He states the strategy is to partner directly with larger medical specialty groups to support their patients' sleep and airway needs. The model combines SPCVA's physician relationships with Vivos' technology and operating experience.
Operational Scale and Goals
The operating plan includes a fully staffed team capable of serving approximately 250 patients per month initially. Additional teams will be added as demand develops. The goal is to expand access to OSA care while creating a scalable model for growth.
By offering multiple diagnostic and treatment pathways in one coordinated model, the partners intend to reduce patient attrition and confusion. They aim to make sleep and airway care more accessible to cardiovascular patients across South Florida. Site selection, build-out, licensing, and staffing must be completed before the 2027 opening.
