Diana Kimmel, a long-time patient advocate, has been appointed as the new board chair of the Hypersomnia Foundation. Kimmel has been a dedicated advocate for individuals with idiopathic hypersomnia since her diagnosis in 2011. She has previously led the foundation's Patient Advocacy and Advisory Council and has also founded a long-running idiopathic hypersomnia support group in Atlanta.
Kimmel's leadership is rooted in compassion and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those with idiopathic hypersomnia and related sleep disorders. In her new role, she aims to continue the fight for support, education, and research for those affected by hypersomnolence disorders.
